Jen, You are so right. The older we grow the more we think we know and the further away we get from the Lord without realizing it. Recognizing our heavenly Father's voice comes from daily contact. Besides, we are all children in the eyes of the Lord. Each one of us walking at a difference pace with the Lord. Despite the fact that we are adults, some of us have the child-like spirit of Alex while others are like a teenager who knows it all and wants to do their own thing. I have found myself in both instances. Thank goodness for God's grace and patience. Thank you again for reminding me how important it is that I spend time with the Lord so that I may recognize his voice. P.S. Alex makes my heart smile.
